RETURN, EXCHANGE & REFUND POLICY

At SARWAT STUDIO, we are committed to your complete satisfaction. Due to the nature of our made-to-order and carefully curated products, we do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind. However, if an item arrives defective, damaged, or incorrect, we will resolve the issue promptly.


WHEN RETURNS OR EXCHANGES ARE ACCEPTED

We accept returns or exchanges only in the following circumstances:

Defective or Damaged Items

The item arrived damaged, faulty, or materially different from your order.

Wrong Item Shipped

You received an item that does not match your confirmed order.


CRITICAL REQUIREMENT: UNBOXING VIDEO

To qualify for a return or exchange, you MUST provide:

Continuous unboxing video showing:

  • The sealed package (before opening)
  • The entire unboxing process from start to finish
  • The item and any defects or discrepancies

Without an unboxing video recorded at the time of delivery, returns or exchanges cannot be processed.

This policy protects both you and us by verifying issues and improving our quality control.


REPORTING WINDOW

You must report any issues within 24 hours of delivery by contacting:

  • Order number
  • Unboxing video
  • Clear photos of the issue
  • Brief description of the problem

Claims reported after 24 hours will not be accepted.


ITEMS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR RETURN OR EXCHANGE

We cannot accept returns or exchanges for:

❌ Change of mind
❌ Incorrect size or color selected by customer
❌ Made-to-order or custom items (unless faulty)
❌ Sale, promotional, or clearance items
❌ Gift cards
❌ Personal care and cosmetic products (unless faulty)
❌ Earrings and pierced jewelry (hygiene reasons)
❌ Intimate apparel or undergarments (unless faulty)


CONDITIONS FOR ELIGIBLE RETURNS

To qualify for a return or exchange:

Unused & Unworn: Item must be in original condition with all tags attached
Original Packaging: Item must be in its original packaging
Proof of Purchase: Order confirmation email or receipt required
Unboxing Video: Mandatory for all claims
Timeframe: Reported within 24 hours of delivery

Returns that do not meet these conditions will not be accepted.


HOW TO REQUEST A RETURN OR EXCHANGE

Step 1: Contact Us Immediately

Within 24 hours of delivery, contact us at:

Provide:

  • Order number
  • Unboxing video (mandatory)
  • Photos showing the issue
  • Description of the problem

Do not ship items without authorization. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.


Step 2: Await Approval

Our team will review your claim and unboxing video.

If approved, we will provide:

  • Return shipping address
  • Return instructions
  • Return shipping label (if applicable) or arrange collection

If rejected, we will explain why your claim does not meet our policy requirements.


Step 3: Ship the Item

  • Pack securely in original packaging
  • Include all tags and accessories
  • You are responsible for the item until it reaches us

RETURN SHIPPING COSTS

If Item is Faulty or Incorrect:

  • SARWAT STUDIO covers return shipping
  • For Cash on Delivery orders, we reimburse via bank transfer

If Return is Due to Customer Error:

  • Generally not accepted (change of mind, wrong size/color)
  • Customer responsible for return shipping (if exception is made)

REFUNDS

Processing Time

Once we receive and inspect your return:

  • Approval or rejection notification sent immediately
  • Approved refunds processed within 10 business days
  • Additional bank processing time: 3-5 business days

Refund Method

Credit/Debit Card or Online Payment:
Refunded to original payment method

Cash on Delivery (COD):
Refunded via bank transfer (8-15 business days to reflect in your account)

Non-Refundable Charges

  • Shipping fees (unless item was faulty or incorrect)
  • COD verification charges (unless item was faulty or incorrect)
  • No restocking fees are charged

EXCHANGES

If you need to exchange a faulty or incorrect item:

  1. Follow the return process above
  2. After your return is approved, we will send a replacement (subject to stock availability)

Fastest Option:
Return the item for a refund, then place a new order for the desired item.


NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

Due to hygiene and safety reasons, the following items cannot be returned or exchanged unless faulty:

  • Personal care and cosmetic products
  • Earrings and pierced jewelry
  • Intimate apparel or undergarments
  • Sale items or gift cards

ORDER CANCELLATIONS

Once an order is placed, it enters production immediately and cannot be cancelled.

This applies to all orders, including:

  • Ready-to-ship items
  • Made-to-order clothing
  • Custom sizing requests

Please review your order carefully before completing your purchase, including:

  • Item details (size, color, design)
  • Shipping address
  • Contact information
